About Me

Jessica Amber Barnum (Jess) is the founder of Om Side of Things, LLC.  She is a Teacher & Writer. Her personalized tutoring sessions create a supportive space for students in Gr. 7–12 to build literacy skills, strengthen executive functioning, and cultivate mindfulness.  They read, write, wonder, and discover their innate brilliance. Her devotion to teaching is founded on her experience as an English/Language Arts Teacher, Literacy Specialist, Wellness Practitioner, and Writer & Author.
